LED Grow Lights For Greenhouses

LED lighting is quickly growing in popularity as a lighting option in greenhouses. Energy efficient, long lasting, and minimal heat output, many greenhouse operations are choosing to replace High Pressure Sodium (HPS) fixtures with LEDs. LEDs can also provide greenhouse operations with light that can be tailored to the specific growing needs of a particular plant, be it tulips, geraniums, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, herbs, or cannabis. In cooler, multi-season climates such as what we experience in Canada, LEDs allow greenhouse operations to produce crops year round by adjusting the fixture's light spectrum to mimic the light intensity and long growing days of the summer months.

At Zortech LED, we strive to provide the latest technology in LED lighting for greenhouses. We are currently testing several models of grow lights in local greenhouses and are experiencing better than expected results. With consumers demanding fresh, local vegetables year-round, the use of LED grow lights in greenhouses make this a possibility. Contact us today to let us help you 'grow' your greenhouse lighting capabilities, or check out our new Linear 640 watt or our 46 Watt Linear Strips for more info. Currently serving greenhouse operations in Norfolk County, and across southern Ontario.
